Software company in New York

Software built for you, not off you

We rebuild everyday tools properly. Sharper, faster, honest. No dark patterns, no attention traps, nothing harvested in the background. Software that does the job and then gets out of the way.

How we build

Most software is built to hold your attention. We build the opposite.

Honest

No tricks

No fake urgency, no buried unsubscribe, no growth loop wearing a feature's clothes. If it ships, it is because it makes the job easier.

Fast

Fast on purpose

Small pages, small payloads, no tracker pile-up. Speed is not a score to post. It is what you owe someone waiting on a bad connection.

Private

Your data stays yours

Collect the least that works, keep it safe, never sell it, delete it when asked. Privacy is the default setting, not the paid tier.

Whole

Built end to end

Design, build, ship and maintain in one place. Nothing gets lost between three vendors and a handover deck.

Projects

What we are building

What we stand for

Four things we will not trade away

We are a small studio in New York. Every line below has cost us a project at least once, and we have kept it anyway.

01

We say when not to build it

A fair share of the enquiries we get describe a tool that already exists for forty dollars a month, or a process problem that no software will fix. We say so on the first call. It costs us the work and saves you a year of paying for something nobody opens.

02

The person who writes the code answers the email

No account manager, no handover deck, no relay. You talk to the engineer who knows why that function looks the way it does, and you keep talking to the same person after launch.

03

Nothing we build is designed to hold you

There is no engagement number here to grow. No notification sent because a chart dipped. No export button hidden behind a support request. Code, accounts, domains and data are in your name from the first week, so leaving is easy and staying is a decision.

04

We finish, and we hand it over properly

A project ends with the thing running, the decisions written down, and someone on your side who can keep it going without us. Not with a final invoice and a link to a staging server.

How it works

Three steps, no surprises

The part most studios keep vague, written down before you commit to anything.

Tell us the problem

One email, then a call under an hour. What the tool has to do, who has to use it, and the date you are working against.

A fixed plan first

Scope, price and dates in writing before a line of code. If it cannot be built well for that budget, we say so then, not four weeks in.

Weekly working builds

Every week there is a build you can open and use. No three-month silence, and nothing in the final invoice you have not already seen.

You own everything. Code, accounts, domains and data stay in your name from the first week. Leaving is always possible, which is what makes staying worth anything.

Contact

Straight answers

The questions people ask before they write in. No form, no funnel, one address a person actually reads.

New York, USA. We work remotely with clients anywhere. The hours we overlap are agreed in the first week rather than improvised later.

Email hello@nxtimaginelabs.com. Replies usually land within one business day, including a plain answer if the project is not a fit.

Web apps, iOS apps and internal tools. Whole products, from the first sketch through deployment and the maintenance after it, built in house.

A fixed price per project, quoted once the scope is clear, usually a day or two after the first call. Small tools start in the low four figures. Full products depend on what is in them. The number is agreed before work starts and only moves if you change what you are asking for.

The people who build it, start to finish. You talk directly to the engineers writing the code. There is no account manager in the middle.
